Vox
VOX, founded in 2014 by Santiago Abascal, emerged as a patriotic response to Spain’s political establishment, advocating for national unity, conservative values, and strict border security. The party’s breakthrough came in 2018 with its success in Andalusia, marking its entrance into regional government and a continued rise across Spain. In 2019, VOX became Spain’s third-largest party with 52 seats in parliament, championing issues like immigration control and national security. On the European stage, VOX doubled its MEPs in 2024 and now plays a significant role in Patriots for Europe, aligning with other patriotic movements to promote national sovereignty.
